We have the pleasure to inform that we are the first company to introduce Pneumatic Telescopic masts (PTMs) in the Indian market and patended under COPYRIGHT ACT in 1983 INDIAN PATENTS - REGN NO:- L - 9594/81 Dt.13-5-1981.  Since introduction we have supplied more than 5,000 PTMs to highly discerning clients in the Indian Market. 

Pneumatic Telescopic Mast is a latest innovation, forming part of an integral communication of systems. These masts are light weight and meant for quick erection, ranging from 5 to 25 meters height. Pneumatic masts are extended by using low pressure air. The air is supplied either from a compressor, in case of smaller masts, from a foot pump.

PTMs basically consist of a series of High tensile Special grade aluminum alloy telescopic sections.  Depending on the load it has to carry and the height of the mast, these sections can be between 5-8 in number.  These sections can be easily extended vertically, using low-pressure air, to a height ranging between 5-30 meters.  This low-pressure air can be supplied, either by a foot pump (for smaller masts) or by an air compressor (for bigger masts).  As the section extends vertically, it can be locked using locking collars that are fitted at the top of each section.  Operating these locking collars is easy – through a thumbscrew.

If a particular operation demands a permanent installation of the mast, then locking collars will have socket head screws instead of thumbscrews.  To prevent swaying of the mast and to provide directional stability, guy ropes (nylon ropes) are available.  As the sections extend, it is essential to tension the guy ropes.  Retraction is also simple.  The mast can be lowered easily, section wise, by releasing the thumbscrews or socket head screws and releasing guy ropes.

To perform a variety of applications, we produce and supply a wide range of models.  Some of them are vehicles mounted and others are erected on the ground.  While the following models are standard products, we also produce and supply custom made PTMs.

We have patented the production process of these PTMs in 1983 under the Copy Right Act (wide Indian Patents – Reg. No: L-9594/81 – issued on May 13 / 1981).

Maintenance
PTMs have seals for holding the sections.  These seals can withstand most demanding environmental conditions in –35o to 60o C.  Generally, they have a life period of 1½ years or 250 cycles of extension and retraction which ever is the first occurrence.  After the life span, these seals have to be replaced.

Mast sections also need to be cleaned, at least once in a month.

We offfer generally one year Warranty, however the Warranties can be offered based on the client’s specifications.

After sales service
PTMs’ are designed and fabricated in such a way that there is hardly any need for after sales service.  If there is a requirement, we will be glad to provide prompt after sales service.
