The
antenna is a horizontally polarized light weight and covers the
full HF Frequency band continuously. There are no tuning devices.
The design of the antenna is such that within one hour 3 trained
persons can complete the erection. This antenna is quite useful
for short and medium range tactical military communications, which
requires high degree of transportability. The Azimuth pattern generally
is Omni Directional with 5 db i gain in the low frequency end.
